A new hero...

...steps up to protect the earth from giant monsters.

DISCLAIMER: I can't draw people. I apologize.

This is the hero of my second, all-new, kaijuverse. I was going to go into the details of why I have two kaijuverses, but this description is long enough as it is, so I'll write a journal on it.

Anyway...the setting of this world is the earth, just as in the surudaverse, but all kaiju here are caused by a mysterious, ethereal substance that flows through the bodies of those it has 'infected', as well as growing them to gigantic sizes.

Our hero (who, once again, doesn't have a name) is an average man exposed to the substance when it comes to earth (probably on a small meteor or something similar). He grows to monstrous proportions, and is soon recruited into the army, to fight the kaiju that appear around the globe. Eventually, he goes on a search for the source of this substance, which takes him to the stars and beyond...

Now, as you can pretty clearly see, Our Hero* (which is what I'm going to call him right now) is based on ultraman. Hopefully I've done enough to differentiate him. Our Hero is a mutated human, and stuck that way; there's no shrinking back to human size for him. He is outfitted with a self-repairing suit, as well as a tactical helmet.

At some point, he gets his arm cut off. This allows for his most important weapon, the robotic arm that gets built as a replacement. 3 staffs are built into the forearm, which can extend from the surface to protect the arm, or swivel around to act as a weapon. These staffs can be activated to emit electricity, and is equally effective as a taser and a bludgeon. Additionally, the core of the arm is a plasma cannon, which ends in a jewel in Our Hero's palm. This can fire a deadly volley in bursts, or a fully-charged beam. If the electro-staffs are rotated outward, they can be combined with the plasma beam to form an even more devestating blast.


also, I haven't decided on the suit's pattern/colors. I kinda want to make him red, and make the colored parts look more like the Rising Sun design, but then of course it would look a lot more like Ultraman. Plus I like this blue-green color, so I might just keep that.


*I might just call him Our Hero...after all, I'm having trouble thinking of anything that fits, and all the good ____man's are taken (superman, ultraman, megaman)
