Old pictures (yeah, I used to draw people even worse than I still do!), but the story ideas are even older. Some sort of story based around a traveling circus, set in the 20's or 30's. These are most of the characters I've had figured out so far.
There's the ringleader, who always wears gloves and a mask, because-surprise! He's secretly a monster. My main thoughts are either some sort of alien or demon, but I know I want him to look insect-ish. I haven't got the mask down yet, but I want it to have a 'Day of the Dead' skull vibe.
There's a dimetrodon, because I feel like a freakshow always has the hoax exhibit displaying some sort of monster or prehistoric creature (only this one -surprise surprise- is real).
The blurry guy in the bottom corner is a man who can communicate with or control a swarm of bugs. His act would include touching the hive, and then having them swarm over him. He would pick up an apple or hunk of meat or something, and they would swarm over it and devour it, leaving nothing left. I have a feeling he'd also use this power to dispose of bodies...
The little kid has super-regenerative powers, so his act would basically consist of stabbing/cutting/hurting himself. He can feel the pain, but he regenerates so quickly that it wouldn't cause any lasting damage. For obvious reasons he's the most depressing part of the circus.
There's some sort of contortionist monster, and also a werewolf (who is locked up all the time, even though he only transforms during the full moon). Just because.
